Evan stares at the message for a while. He puts down his phone.

"What just happened?"

After a while, Kathy comes home and Evan hears the door unlock. He tries to clear his head and goes out of his room.

"Oh, you're home already?", Kathy asks.

"Yeah.", Evan responds, with a dull tone.

He still couldn't process anything in his head - was it a bad idea if they got back together? What if he hurt her again?

Kathy: "You good?"

She had noticed that Evan was acting off today.

Evan: "I'm fine; I think I'm just tired today - Barbie 2 wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It was Tristan's idea though, he never has good ideas anyways."

Kathy: "Oh, I see."

Kathy walks to her room to change her clothes. Evan sits down on the couch, because his room felt suffocating at the moment. He felt uncomfortable on the couch - he laid down, sat upside down, placed his hands on his face, not knowing what to do. "What the f*ck am I doing?", Evan thought to himself.

A little while later, Jason and Cinta walks into the apartment - Evan quickly gets himself back together and sits on the couch. "Hey", Jason said to Evan. "Mmm", Evan responded. What's up with him? Jason ignores this and starts preparing for dinner. As he puts the plates on the kitchen island, he finds Evan sitting right in front of him. "Sh*t, you surprised me there.", Jason exclaimed. Evan let out a bit of a chuckle.

Jason: "What's up? You seem a bit off today."

Evan: "Nothing, I've just a got a lot on my mind."

Jason: "Oh alright, you can stay here and accompany me if you'd like - I'm here to talk to you if you need it."

Evan: "Thanks."

...

Evan: "Jason?"

Jason: "Hm?"

Evan: "Can I get your advice on something?"

Jason: "Sure, what's up?"

Jason responds, turning back to Evan, while trying to open a new can of Del Monte's Traditional Vegan Pasta Sauce.

Evan: "What if I tried to get back with someone I've hurt before?"

Jason: "Huh?"

Jason stopped everything he was doing and takes a seat next to him.

Jason: "Why so sudden? Is this about Celyn?"

Evan: "Yeah, I saw her today at the theatres and I feel like there's a spark between us, or at least the spark from our past relationship."

Jason: "Oh? How come?"

Evan: "I don't know - this is just confusing to me."

Evan: "I felt something when I was around her."

Jason: "Really?"

Evan: "Yeah - I just don't know if I want to act on it or not. I'm scared."

Jason: "Why?"

Evan: "I don't want to hurt her again."

Jason: "That's reasonable."

Jason: "Do you think you've matured enough as a person?"

Evan: "I'm not sure."

Jason: "Well, remember when you broke up with her?"

Evan: "Yep."

[6 months ago]

Celyn: "What's with you helping that classmate all the time? What's her name? Stella?"

Evan: "Yeah, what's wrong with me helping her?"

Celyn: "It's the fact that you keep giving her attention, when it's so obvious that she likes you."

Evan: "No she doesn't, we're just friends."

Celyn: "Yes she does Evan, you're just too blind to see it."

Celyn: "Why can't she just ask her other classmates?"

Evan: "Well how would I know? I guess because I'm smart?"

Celyn: "No you doofus, it's because she likes you."

Evan: "I'm telling you, she doesn't."

Celyn: "Yes she does."

Evan: "Well why do you care so much about me helping her anyways?"

Celyn: "Because she keeps craving for your attention and you keep feeding into it. It's so obvious she likes you. Why can't you see that?"

Evan: "She does not!"

Celyn: "Remember when I was talking to you about wanting to plan our anniversary together?"

Evan: "Yeah?"

Celyn: "I was trying to talk to you, and Stella walked right infront of me and begged you to teach her."

Evan: "So? She's just asking me to teach her."

Celyn: "SHE WAS FLIRTING WITH YOU, EVAN - RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE TOO!"

Celyn: "YOU AGREED TO TEACHING HER THE SAME NIGHT I WAS PLANNING ON TALKING TO YOU ABOUT US!"

Celyn: "IS SHE MORE IMPORTANT THAN OUR RELATIONSHIP?!"

Evan: "That's not what I meant!"

Evan: "Look if you're just gonna be jealous like this everytime I interact with Stella, then maybe we should just break up - because clearly you don't trust me around her."

Celyn: "What?"

Tears started rolling down Celyn's eyes.

Evan: "Yeah, since you don't want me to be around her so much - what if I just stop being around you instead?"

Celyn: "F-Fine!"

[Current time]

Evan: "F*ck man, I f*cked up so bad."

Tears start rolling down Evan's face. He takes his glasses off and rubs his eyes.

Jason: "Yeah."

Jason: "Do you think you've grown up from that?"

Evan: "I guess?"

Jason: "Can you respect her boundaries? Do you think you can listen to what she says about other girls?"

Evan: "I believe so."

Jason: "Do you really miss her?"

Evan: "Yeah - I really do."

Jason: "Go for it man."

Evan: "...Okay."
